As a Camp Counselor at Camp Adventure, you will have the amazing opportunity to either serve as a: Group Counselor: Be the guiding star for a group of campers, leading them through a day filled with various activities and unforgettable moments. Activity Counselor: Share your passion and expertise by leading thrilling activities like archery, pickleball, challenge courses, performing arts, camp crafts, and more. What you need to know Salary: $8.75/hourly Cover Letter and Resume: A cover letter and resume are strongly recommended Schedule: Camp Adventure will operate from May 25 – June 5, 2026 Mandatory training will be held on May 23 and May 24, 2026 Hours of operation: 8:00 AM – 4:45 PM, Monday - Friday Qualifications Required Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred Qualifications: CPR and First Aid certification Experience working with kids ages 8–12 Responsibilities Depending on the chosen role: Group Counselors - stay with the same group of campers all day and take them to each activity Activity Counselors - lead specific activities for various camper groups Our Commitment Texas A&M University is committed to enriching the learning and working environment by promoting a culture that respects all perspectives, talents & lived experiences.
