Under the supervision of the Employment Training Specialist Supervisor, the CalWORKs OA is responsible for provides administrative and clerical support to staff and clients participating in the California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs) program. This role ensures efficient office operations while delivering courteous, professional assistance to individuals seeking employment and supportive services. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Adhere to all El Concilio California policies and procedures. Greet and assist clients, providing information about CalWORKs services, eligibility, and program requirements Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff Schedule appointments and maintain staff calendars Prepare, process, and file documents such as applications, case records, and reports Enter and update client information in databases with accuracy and confidentiality Assist caseworkers with administrative tasks and follow-up communications Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed Maintain organized filing systems (physical and electronic) Support workshop coordination, including preparing materials and tracking attendance Ensure compliance with confidentiality and program regulations Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and administration CORE COMPETENCIES: All El Concilio California staff are expected to meet the expectations of our Core Competencies Accountability and Reliability: Shows honesty, integrity, responsibility, initiative, and is mindful of impact on team/organization.
