Mission of Calvary Music: Calvary Music is the Worship Community of Calvary Chapel FTL, dedicated to creating environments where Jesus is exalted through musical worship. Our goal is to help the Church remember who He is and what He has done, and respond in worship. We are committed to writing songs that bring God’s Word to life, inspiring listeners to grow in their relationship with Him. Role of Calvary Music Intern: Session Scheduling: Scheduling and communicating session details to all parties involved. Session Preparation: Creating Pro Tools sessions with the basic parameters for the session you are working on. Session Attendance: You will be attending multiple sessions throughout your internship for the various projects happening in Calvary Music. Attend songwriting sessions to strengthen familiarity with the songwriting process. OE Studio Management: Managing projects and daily operation of the OE studio. Attend weekly church staff huddles. Sunday Participation: Serving at one of our local campuses throughout the duration of your internship serving either on the worship or AV teams. Learning goals: Develop a heart of worship, mission to work, and a love for others around you. Develop a music production workflow that gives you a foundation for professional music production work. Gain hands-on experience in setting up Pro Tools sessions and working within a professional studio environment, building technical competence in audio production tools and processes. Develop the ability to manage multiple studio projects and daily operations, ensuring sessions and workflows are well-organized and efficient. Manage multiple tasks and assignments related to Calvary Music. Receive feedback on a track that you will be working on. Learn to effectively coordinate and communicate session details with team members, artists, and leaders, enhancing organizational and interpersonal skills. Build foundational knowledge of songwriting by actively observing and engaging in writing sessions, improving creative awareness and musical collaboration. Consistently placing a high priority on worship and your personal prayer life. Attending weekly services. Obedient to God to take a Sabbath and make space for soul keeping. Willing to give up personal pleasures and freedoms in order to live a life above reproach and that is aligned with scripture and our Leadership Covenant.
