Call Center Rep (PT/ nights)
About The Position
Missouri Baptist Hospital is seeking a part time call center representative to work night shift. This individual will be assisting with answering calls coming in to the hospital from patients, monitoring code blue, and fire codes. The schedule is Friday & Saturday Overnights from 10:30 PM to 6 AM. Missouri Baptist Medical Center is an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offering a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound and pain management services. The hospital has a 24-hour adult emergency department and cares for pediatric patients at a separate emergency department in collaboration with St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Missouri Baptist is the first and only hospital in St. Louis County to be named a Magnet® hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), a designation achieved by less than nine percent of hospitals nationwide. U.S. News & World Report ranked the hospital #2 in the St. Louis metro area. The Facilities Services Department provides security, telecommunications, housekeeping, maintenance and engineering services for the campus, working in partnership to ensure the campus, including all of its buildings, parking lots/garages, patient care and common areas are well maintained, clean, attractive, and secure. The role purpose is to provide call center services by assisting internal and external callers in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Less than 2 years of experience

Responsibilities
- Answers and directs all inquiries from patients, visitors, physicians and staff to appropriate locations using an online database and printed directories
- Answers incoming calls according to department guidelines
- Provides paging service
- Provides clerical duties, organizes and maintains records
- Ensures customers receive exceptional service through consistent performance, answering, directing and paging according to the customers request
