About The Position

We are seeking an organized and driven Assistant Call Center Sales Manager to support our growing moving and storage business. The ideal candidate will assist in managing a team of sales representatives, overseeing daily operations of the call center, and helping to ensure the achievement of sales targets. You will also work closely with the Call Center Sales Manager to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure that customer service standards are met.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in a call center environment.
  • Previous leadership or management experience in a sales or customer service role.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and call center technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends or evenings.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management and supervision of the call center sales team, ensuring staff are trained, motivated, and performing at their best.
  • Support the development and implementation of sales strategies to meet or exceed company goals.
  • Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and assist with professional development to improve sales and customer service skills.
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries or complaints and work to resolve them effectively.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and onboarding new call center sales agents.
  • Prepare sales reports and analyze performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Call Center Sales Manager to develop incentive programs to motivate the sales team.
  • Help ensure the call center is meeting or exceeding company standards for customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Manage scheduling and ensure adequate staffing levels to handle call volumes during peak times.
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining call center systems and technologies.
