About The Position

At Ruby, we provide the friendly, professional voice that businesses depend on. As a Virtual Receptionist (Call Center Agent), you aren't just answering phones; you are the face of our customers' businesses, creating meaningful connections. We are looking for empathetic professionals to join our team in-office at our Chesapeake, VA location. Because Ruby operates 24/7, 365 days a year, this position requires the ability to work a weekend day and holidays. Note: All interviews will be conducted at our Chesapeake office.

Requirements

  • A minimum typing speed of 40 WPM and comfort navigating multiple software platforms simultaneously.
  • A warm, professional demeanor with the ability to remain composed and empathetic, even during challenging interactions.
  • A proven track record of self-motivation and reliable attendance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a high-volume call center, customer service, or administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Office 365.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Skillfully handle incoming calls and web chats, serving as a helpful and warm extension of our customers' business.
  • Ensure accuracy and a high attention to detail in all written communications.
  • Efficiently multitask in a fast-paced environment across two monitors.
  • Adhere to service quality standards, performance expectations, and maintain consistent schedule adherence to support your team and our callers.
