About The Position

Daikin Applied is seeking a Calibration Technician to ensure the plant measuring equipment is properly calibrated at all times and provide accurate measurements by comparing them against established standards. This position will also identify the root cause of measuring equipment providing inaccurate measurement and collaborate with the appropriate stakeholders to implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. What you will do: Proactively engage in safe working habits following all plant safety policies and procedures Perform regular calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of measurement equipment using established company procedures Maintain accurate and up-to-date calibration records to support audits and compliance efforts Participate in root cause identification and corrective action implementation for measuring equipment discovered to be generating inaccurate measurements Maintain and update plant calibration software, as required Coordinate, repair, and/or replace measuring equipment producing inaccurate measurements Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure proper handling of measuring reequipment Set up standard and special purpose laboratory instrumentation to test and evaluate measuring equipment Coordinate with 3rd party vendors for completion of on-site and external calibrations What’s in it for you: The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best

Requirements

  • Vocational or Technical Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years’ experience or training in calibration related responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage in safe working habits following all plant safety policies and procedures
