About The Position

rms Company provides contract manufacturing of high-quality, tight-tolerance medical implants, components and sub-assemblies using cutting-edge technology. rms is part of the Cretex Medical family of companies. The Calibration Technician ensures product compliance to quality systems and customer specifications through maintenance and calibration of measuring equipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years' of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic understanding of ISO 13485
  • Knowledge of quality specifications and regulatory requirements regarding calibration
  • Understanding of gage application and usage
  • Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
  • Word Processing and Excel experience
  • Experience with gage ordering processes

Nice To Haves

  • Familiar with gage tracking software preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Follow and execute calibration procedures
  • Maintain database to track calibration status of gages and equipment
  • Coordinate outside calibration services
  • Communicate gage related quality issues to quality management team
  • Communicate quality issues to Manager
