About The Position

The Calibration Laboratory Technician plays an important role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of Beamex calibration equipment. In this lab‑based position, you’ll work as part of a supportive, highly skilled team that specializes in calibrating the tools used to calibrate other measurement instruments—helping customers maintain safe, efficient, and compliant operations worldwide. In this role, you will perform hands‑on calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of precision equipment, follow clear and well‑established procedures, and help maintain the high quality standards Beamex is known for. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent technical training in electronics or relevant field, and two years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of Metrology.
  • Good knowledge of practical calibration (pressure, electrical, and/or temperature) work.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment.
  • Experience working in calibration, a calibration lab a plus.
  • Experience analyzing calibration results a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task while maintaining a strong attention to detail, characterized by precision and accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 17025.
  • General working knowledge of calibration software (e.g., data entry, record management, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Work in a team environment to perform calibration and adjustments of calibration equipment.
  • Perform trouble shooting and repair of calibration equipment.
  • Record information into data systems.
  • Adhere to established procedures to ensure quality compliance as determined by ISO 9001 and ISO 17025
  • Any other duties as directed by the Calibration Laboratory Manage
