About The Position

Job Details: Pay: $21.30 Hours: 1st Shift MUST PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS TASKED BY ADMINISTRATION. This position is responsible for cage repairing and providing support for cage repair while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 months mechanic work experience and or education documented in the work/education history section of the application. This can be a combination of employers/education if equal to at least 6 months.
Learn and observe safety regulations/best practices.
Must be able to drive/operate forklift, scissor lift.
MUST have good Mathematical skills.
MUST be able to read diagrams, fabricate, plasma cut, and weld.
Ability to execute strenuous tasks such as lifting and handing heavy objects, pushing, pulling, stand for long periods of time, squat and kneel.
MUST be able to troubleshoot and repair small motors.
MUST be able to use plumbing techniques for water lines.
REHIRES ARE SUBJECT TO A 1 YEAR WAIT PERIOD.
CANDIDATES THAT HAVE WORKED FOR TYSON FOODS OR TYSON AFFILIATES 3 OR MORE TIMES WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR REHIRE.
