About The Position
PRIMARY PURPOSE / FUNCTION: Assist the teacher in the preparation and management classroom activities and administrative requirements. Work under the supervision of a certified teacher.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Educational Aide Certificate
- Meets Highly Qualified status with either an Associate’s degree or higher, 48 college hours or a certificate demonstrating state or local academic assessment.
- Ability to work well with children with disabilities
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Patient and calm demeanor with students and others
