About The Position

The Cafeteria Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the employees. This includes managing food production, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, supervising staff, ensuring quality service, and controlling inventory and costs. The manager will ensure all meals are prepared on time, meet quality standards, and comply with health and safety regulations. As a Cafeteria manager, you will: Oversee daily cafeteria operations including food prep, service, and sanitation. Supervise, train, and schedule cafeteria team members. Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and guest satisfaction. Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations (HACCP, local/state inspections). Ensure kitchen equipment is operated safely and maintained properly. Control inventory, monitor usage, and place supply orders as needed. Collaborate with F&B leadership to plan menus and control food and labor costs. Handle employee concerns, customer feedback, and service issues professionally. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent (Culinary or Hospitality degree preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in food service management, preferably in a high-volume setting.
  • Occasional carrying and lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and operational procedures.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and schedule labor efficiently.
  • ServSafe Certification or equivalent preferred.

  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
