About The Position

Boys & Girls Club is committed to practicing those values to create a community organization where you can be sure you’re making a difference. We are looking for full-time applicants available from 9am to 6pm, Monday through Friday. This role also includes some evenings and weekends throughout the year. This position does require that you be over the age of 21 with a valid driver license and clean driving record. Some experience in kitchens is preferred but no experience is required. Applicants with ServSafe certification are preferred. Benefits include: Free/discounted Child Care Entry-level pay is $16/hour Free Medical, Vision, and Dental Free TeleHealth Free Development Opportunities Tuition Reimbursement PTO Responsibilities for Entry-Level Cook: Under the supervision of an experienced Lead Cook, you will: Prepare food Clean and sanitize spaces and equipment Receive, label, rotate, and stock food, dairy, and produce These duties include: Moving large amounts of inventory Washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients Measuring quantities of ingredients and seasonings Washing dishes and utensils Taking out trash Driving food to area locations Maintaining the safety of our children and staff, and ensuring an optimal experience for all Applicants must be or become ServSafe certified within 90 days of employment.
