Damar is currently seeking a talented, motivated and detail oriented Cook to join our team! As a Cook, you would prepare meals from scratch and cook items in batches, load food carts, and ensure the kitchen and equipment is maintained in a clean and sanitary manner. Shifts available : Monday-Friday 4:30a-1:00p, 5:00a-2:00p +2 weekends/month (Saturday & Sunday) Here are just a few of the benefits you'll enjoy at Damar: Starting pay: $15.25...up to $17.00/hour based on experiece! Requirements
- Prior work in a high volume kitchen preferred, but not required
- Valid driver's license strongly preferred
- Minimum age of 18 per licensure requirements
- Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving)
- Successfully complete a pre-employment physical
- Favorably meet and maintain Damar’s background screening
- Physical : Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 50lbs); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
- Vision : See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
- Hearing : Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
