About The Position

Join Our Cafeteria Crew as a Cashier! Love friendly faces, fast-paced days, and food? We’ve got the perfect spot for you on our food service team! We're looking for someone who’s great with people, quick with numbers, and happy to lend a hand where it’s needed. As our Cafeteria Cashier, you'll be the smiling face at the register and a key part of our daily meal service.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Six months of experience handling cash (or rocking a register)
• Confidence using a calculator and basic math to prep deposits
• A current Food Handler’s Permit (from Kansas City, Independence, Jackson or Clay County) — or be ready to get one within 30 days
• A can-do attitude, team spirit, and strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Ring up meals with a smile and keep the lunch line moving

• Jump in to help portion and serve food when needed
• Bring good vibes and great service to every customer interaction
