About The Position

We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Cafeteria Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing a clean, welcoming environment while ensuring smooth daily operations in our cafeteria. This role involves serving food, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering excellent customer service.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in food service or customer service is a plus but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, associates, and external partners.
Ability to work well under pressure and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies.
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
Ability to be mobile and stand for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

Serve food and beverages to customers, ensuring portions meet health and safety guidelines.
Greet and assist customers, addressing their inquiries and providing information about menu items.
Maintain a clean and organized cafeteria area, including dining spaces, serving counters, and dishwashing areas.
Assist in inventory control, including restocking supplies and notifying management of low stock.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and customers.
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure efficient service.
Assist with catering for special events or functions as needed.
