The Café Supervisor provides key oversight of the Fleet Science Center’s Café and theater concessions operations. This position supervises kitchen and front of house staff as they perform a variety of duties, including food and drink preparation and service, restocking, and cleaning. The supervisors ensure these duties are carried out with a high caliber of customer service, constant attention to food safety, and cash handling standards. The Café Supervisor also assists the Assistant Director of Business Operations with duties such as ordering inventory and supplies, monitoring kitchen equipment, creating and updating policies and procedure documents, and serving as a point of escalation for any customer issues. This is an exciting opportunity to help open the Fleet’s brand-new café after an extensive renovation. Start date is anticipated to be between March 25th – early April but may change based on construction schedules.
