The Cafe & Pantry Supervisor position will be a supervisory position to ensure the Food & Beverage operation and standards are being met to the fullest. The Supervisor will be a liaison between the service staff, Guests and F&B Management Team. Provide guests with food and beverage offerings, assistance with retail purchases and maintain the Café & Pantry work area. Respond to all interactions in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Experience required by position is from three months to one full year of employment in the related position with Four Seasons or other organizations.
  • Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
  • Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.
  • Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
  • Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions and read and write English.
  • Hawaii Food Handler’s Card
  • Maui Liquor Card
  • Tuberculosis Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Provide guests with food and beverage, assistance with retail purchases and maintaining the Café & Pantry work area.
  • Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or house charges.
  • Provide accurate information to guests in a courteous manner; fill all reasonable guest requests or requirements; anticipate guest needs.
  • Ensuring quality control and maintaining inventory.
  • Ensuring daily service standards are carried out.
