SUMMARY: Responsible for greeting and seating Guests, maintaining a smooth flow of Guests through the restaurant. Maintains the cleanliness of the restaurant dining room and bus stations in accordance with company standards. Maintains wait lists when necessary. Handles cash transactions. Essential Responsibilities and Duties: (Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to) Maintains an effective working relationship and excellent guest service with all Team Members and Guests. Greets and seats Guests and ensures that both external and internal Guests are treated cordially and in a courteous manner. Handles cash transactions accurately, efficiently and in accordance with departmental procedures. Maintains contact with Guests, serving staff, kitchen staff, and management to ensure that dining details are handled properly and quickly. Adheres to Black Oak Casino Resort and departmental appearance standards. Provides courteous guest service and adheres to Guest Service Standards. Performs duties using sound and mature judgment. Converses with Guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service; addresses complaints or concerns. Performs multiple tasks during high volume situations. Ensures fair, balanced and equal flow of seating for Servers and Guests. Cleans and resets the dining room on an as needed basis. Performs other duties as assigned.
