About The Position

Guiding Star Southwest, a division of Southwest Coalition, Inc., is searching for a Cafe & Boutique staff member to join its mission in expanding life-affirming medical and birth services for women in El Paso, Texas. As an affiliate of the national Guiding Star Project and inspired by St. Mary, Our Lady Star of the Sea, Guiding Star Southwest is committed to delivering trauma-informed care that respects the whole person by considering a woman’s mind, body, and soul. The organization’s focus spans the full spectrum of women’s health, from puberty through perimenopause, and emphasizes fertility, pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and motherhood, while striving to reduce trauma by advocating against societal pressures that may compromise the natural functions of a woman’s body. The ideal candidate is a compassionate, service-driven leader with a servant’s heart who delights guests through excellent hospitality in the café and boutique while stewarding inventory and promoting our services in the community. As we expand our services and community presence in alignment with Wholistic Feminism, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cafe & Boutique who can own day-to-day front-of-house operations, deliver gold-standard customer service, manage inventory across the café and boutique, and actively promote our offerings to the community. This role blends hands-on hospitality, retail operations, and grassroots promotion. Must be Christ-centered, ready and willing to share their God-given talents with a servant-heart. To be a successful wholistic Guiding Star employee, you should be dedicated and focused on providing top-quality wholistic care and support to all guests, focused on whole-person care which considers a person’s mind, body, and spirit. You should have a strong working knowledge of customer service, point-of-sale best practices, inventory management, merchandising, sanitation standards, and promotional outreach, with a patient, caring, and detail-oriented personality. At Southwest Coalition for Life, we offer a more relaxed working environment, catering to the needs of our employees and establishing a family-like feel. With the merger and expansion of two non-profit organizations, you will take critical responsibility in establishing Guiding Star Southwest’s café and boutique as welcoming, reputable, and missional community spaces—supporting a ground-breaking mission on the new frontline of the pro-life movement in post-Roe America. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cafe & Boutique team member capable of delighting guests, managing daily café and boutique operations, and representing Guiding Star in the community. The ideal candidate delivers exceptional and compassionate customer service, maintains sanitary and audit-ready café standards, manages inventory with accuracy, and proactively promotes our offerings to drive awareness and results. Must be Christ-centered, ready and willing to share their God-given talents with a servant-heart.
