About The Position

Kimbell Art Museum seeking outgoing individuals to work in the Kimbell Café. RESPONSIBILITIES: Friendly customer service interactions with the Café visitors. Will learn basic knowledge of food preparation, customer service, and hospitality as well as problem-solving skills. Help maintain a clean workspace and use safe food handling techniques. Assist with clearing guest tables and dishwashing duties, as needed. May assist with weekend catering events, if necessary. EMPLOYEE PERKS: 4 free tickets to every Kimbell exhibition. Requirements

May be scheduled up to 29 hours per week.
Daily schedule may include Tuesdays through Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with some flexibility allowed. No Mondays.
Must have a positive attitude and enjoy interacting with the public.
Physical demands of the job include but are not limited to: Standing and walking during entire your shift Reaches, bends, stoops, lifts, shakes, stirs, pours and carries supplies Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight on a semi regular basis
Completion of background and drug screening authorization form required.
Must be at least 16 years old to apply.

Nice To Haves

Prior basic knowledge of food preparation, a plus.
