About The Position

Kforce has a client in Fremont, CA that is seeking a CAD Designer/Catia Designer. We are looking for someone to streamline our client's process - to focus on 2D and 3D designs based on feedback and input for parts from the team. The CAD Designer/Catia Designer will also support design engineering and identify assembly level parts to design properly.

Requirements

• Proficiency with GD&T
• Experience with 2D print creation
• Fixture or Fastener experience

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
• 0-2 years of CATIA V5 or 3DExperience experience preferred, knowledge in other CAD software accepted

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design engineers to create, release, and manage fastener data
• Release parts and specifications into ENOVIA
• Collaborate with design engineers to create 2D and 3D fasteners using CATIA V5 and 3DExperience
• Use specifications to added GD&T to 2D drawings
• Transfer parts between CAD systems
• Manage a catalog of fasteners and test results
• Identify joint stacks in contexts using 3DExperience
• Support design engineers on creation and release of specifications
