About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting in the review of design of new and existing HVAC products. A successful candidate will possess a strong knowledge of drafting/design, Cad and be detail oriented.

Requirements

• Strong drafting skills.
• Highly detail oriented.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Understanding of section and orthographic views as it pertains to drafting.
• Understanding of dimension placement and layout as it pertains to drafting.
• Understanding of assembly and exploded assembly views as it pertains to drafting.
• Working understanding of basic tolerances.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes revolving around, press break, welding and turret punch preferred.
• SolidWorks or similar experience required.
• Ability to make edits to parts, assemblies and drawings created by others.

Nice To Haves

• CSWP preferred.
• 2D CAM nesting experience preferred.
• HVAC experience is desirable.
• Experience in a low volume high mix manufacturing environment is desirable.
• ERP experience is desirable.
• 1Factory experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review 3D models and drawings.
• Redline any deviations from drawing or design standards.
• Work with other designers in process of creating complete and correct drawings.
• Input drawings into our quality system for first part inspection
