CAD Design Engineer
About The Position
CAD Design Engineer / HVAC Design Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading HVAC manufacturer. CAD Design Engineer / HVAC Design Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for undertaking detailed 3D design/drawings of HVAC products including air conditioning, wall mount air conditioners, heat pumps, refrigeration systems. CAD Design Engineer / HVAC Design Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer must have sheet metal design experience and proficiency in the use of SolidWorks CAD software. You need to be able to travel to the manufacturing facility in Cordele, Georgia daily. Package – $75,000-$85,000 Medical, dental plan Life Insurance 401(k) coverage
Requirements
- Experience as a CAD Design Engineer / HVAC Design Engineer / Draughtsman / 3D Modeller / Mechanical Design Engineer within the HVAC industry
- Background in sheet metal design for HVAC and/or refrigeration system ideally
- Proficient in the use of SolidWorks CAD software
- Able to travel to the manufacturing facility in Cordele, Georgia
Responsibilities
- Undertake detailed 3D design/drawings of HVAC products including air conditioning, wall mount air conditioners, heat pumps, refrigeration systems
- Produce 3D models of ranging HVAC products such as refrigerant, air conditioning, heat pump systems
- Develop pipework designs and integrate into overall unit structure
- Liaise with varying engineering departments
- Able to travel to the manufacturing facility in Cordele, Georgia
