About The Position

We are seeking experienced Cable Technicians to assist with pulling cable and terminating keystone-style jacks at a large commercial construction site.
Responsibilities include:
Pulling, terminating, and testing Cat5/6 and fiber optic cables
Installing cabling infrastructure (racks, cabinets, etc.)
Installing network racks and cabinets in server rooms
Reviewing job documentation, including:
Floor plans (equipment locations)
Reflected ceiling plans
Conduit call-outs
Wall elevations
Signal flow diagrams
Cable pull schedules

Requirements

• Cable pulling and termination
• Structured cabling
• Punchdown experience
• Familiarity with Cat5/6 and fiber optic cabling
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• PPE required before starting: Hard hat with chin strap Safety glasses Steel-toed shoes Safety vest
