About The Position

The Inside Plant (ISP) Technician supports data center and low‑voltage infrastructure by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting cabling, hardware, and connectivity inside controlled facilities. This role requires hands‑on technical ability, strict adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work in fast‑paced, mission‑critical environments.

Requirements

• Experience in ISP, data center, or low‑voltage environments (entry‑level to mid‑level)
• Hands‑on experience with labeling, porting, dressing, and patching
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Comfortable working extended shifts, weekends, or overtime if required
• Ability to pass drug screen and BGC

Nice To Haves

• Prior data center experience
• Fiber and copper cabling exposure
• Understanding of basic networking or infrastructure concepts
• OSHA, safety, or site‑specific certifications

Responsibilities

• Install, label, dress, and patch copper and fiber cabling within data center and ISP environments
• Perform hardware installation and support, including racks, cabinets, patch panels, and network equipment
• Follow detailed work orders, site procedures, and documentation requirements
• Maintain clean, organized, and compliant work areas
• Adhere to all safety, security, and access control policies
• Support troubleshooting efforts and escalate issues as needed
