About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Low‑Voltage Cable Technician to support active projects throughout Manhattan, NY. This is a hands‑on role focused primarily on cable pulling, termination, and installation in commercial environments. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently on job sites and handling physically demanding tasks while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of hands‑on cable technician experience
• Strong experience with structured cabling, pulling, and termination
• Experience working in commercial environments
• Comfortable working on ladders and performing physical tasks
• OSHA‑30 certification (required)
• Valid NYC Site Safety Training (SST) card (required)
• Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

• Cable testing experience (Fluke or similar tools)
• Ability to read blueprints or low‑voltage drawings

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, and secure Cat5e/Cat6 cabling
• Terminate cables to patch panels, jacks, and faceplates
• Drill through walls, ceilings, and floors to complete cable runs
• Dress, label, and organize cabling per project standards
• Read and follow drawings, layouts, and work instructions
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
