About The Position

We are hiring Cable Technicians for a large data center new construction project. We are actively hiring:
Technician I – Entry Level
Great for candidates with exposure to construction, electrical, warehouse, telecom, or other hands‑on work.
Training provided.
Technician II – Experienced
Requires at least 2 years of experience in structured cabling/telecom.
Must be able to lead small teams and handle advanced testing/troubleshooting.

• Any technical/construction experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of telecom/structured cabling experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and lead small teams.
• Knowledge of color codes.
• Ability to work at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces.
• Lift 50 lbs and move up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to distinguish color codes.
• Reliable attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pulling and installing low-voltage cabling.
• Help install Microduct and cable pathways.
• Learn to use testing tools and basic troubleshooting.
• Follow supervisor and Tech II lead instructions.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Follow all construction site safety guidelines.
• Pull and install 4" Microduct using proper labeling standards.
• Perform advanced cable testing and troubleshooting.
• Identify active voice/data circuits.
• Lead small teams of installers and coordinate daily workload.
• Ensure quality, safety, and project timelines are met.
• Complete required documentation (timesheets, work orders, material tracking).
• Work on a large‑scale data center new construction site.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.
