Requirements

  • At least 3+ years working within custom cabinetry, millwork, or a closely related woodworking environment.
  • Ability to read, review, and interpret cabinetry drawings, shop drawings, and construction specifications.
  • Proven background managing quotes, orders, and project documentation is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and comfortable learning project management and CRM systems.
  • Communicates clearly with high-end clients, and manages sensitive, NDA-bound projects with discretion.
  • Patient, thorough, and able to stay focused through long, complex projects.
  • Goes beyond basic estimating by identifying issues, offering value engineering, and helping keep projects on budget.

  • Ability to read cabinetry drawings, shop drawings, and construction specifications.
  • Experience with quote management, orders, and project documentation

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for designers and clients throughout long-running custom cabinetry and millwork projects.
  • Review detailed design prints for large-scale, custom projects and clarify questions directly with designers.
  • Gather supplier pricing, including specialty materials such as custom hardware, and develop detailed project quotes.
  • Collaborate with designers and clients to provide value engineering and keep projects aligned with budget expectations.
  • Document change requests, update drawings as needed, and maintain accurate project records.
  • Coordinate the handoff to the shop for fabrication and support cross-department communication as projects move forward.
  • Resolve issues and address concerns promptly to keep projects on track and customers satisfied.
