Cabinet Maintenance: Summer Project
About The Position
Surface Experts is a national brand that is in the process of growing our local team. We are looking for a person to use our cabinet refresh process for a local client. This is a Summer Project that starts in May and runs through early August. Both men and women make great Surface Experts techs, but there are a few requirements that help us determine whether someone will have the skill set to be able to learn quickly. We repair small damage to surfaces like Floors, Countertops, Bathtubs, Cabinets, Appliances, Furniture, Elevator Panels … Almost Everything!. We pride ourselves in our ability to provide incredibly fast service, while maintaining a friendly and professional atmosphere in our support center and on jobsites. We combine old school skill sets with new technology and products, resulting in a durable and appealing repair all provided with a smile. Most repairs are simple and smaller than a dinner plate, yet our competition focuses on complete resurfacing. Our objective is a happy customer and a long-term relationship. We focus on saving our customers time, money and wasted materials that end up in a landfill. Our typical repair requires only 1 to 2 tablespoons of product so our technicians can carry their entire set of tools and equipment in a small vehicle. Our approach is clean and free of odors in less than two hours. Our Mission Our mission is to develop outstanding teams by investing in strong relationships. Requirements
- Experience in cabinetry or carpentry.
- Backgrounds in cabinetry, fine woodworking, or carpentry will be helpful in accomplishing detailed wood repairs.
- Attention to detail
- Enjoy working with a team
- Ability to manage your own schedule
- Customer service experience
- Excellent work ethic
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with your hands - This could be in construction, manufacturing, painting, or even a personal hobby
- Experience working in facilities maintenance can be a big plus, but is not required
