About The Position

General Summary of Duties:

The Cabana Club Server is responsible for providing attentive, warm, and detailed service to all guests at the Pool. They are responsible for serving food and beverage, and assisting pool team where necessary.

This position will also be responsible for Bartender duties

The Cabana Club Bartender is responsible for providing attentive, warm, and detailed service to all guests at the Pool. Bartenders will be responsible for serving beverages, managing the service bar, and assisting the pool team where necessary.

Requirements

• Knowledge of all liquor laws and regulations concerning service of alcoholic beverages
• Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails
• Working knowledge of acceptable standards of sanitation and proper chemical usage
• Ability to perform basic math skills
• Ability to handle money and make correct change
• Comprehension of POS system
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English
• Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment
• High School education or equivalent
• Previous hospitality and serving experience is required
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
• The primary work location for this position is outdoors
• Will be exposed to elements including heat, wind, and potentially inclement weather
• Will be required to lift items up to 25 lbs
• Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch
• Must use hands to reach, grasp, handle, pull and push
• Must have good near and far vision
• Must be able to hear, talk, smell

Responsibilities

• Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest and maintain a safe environment
• Keep pool area clean in accordance with the company’s guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department
• Maintain accurate records regarding guest checks and reconcile all tabs in a timely fashion
• Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the customers at the pool and on the pool deck satisfied at all times
• Become familiar with all menu items, wine, and spirits
• Observe guests to respond if additional service is required
• Clear, clean, reset, and maintain station during shift
• Mix all drinks based on the serving sizes as outlined in the company manual to keep drink costs at a minimum
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the shift and be able to account for any and all discrepancies in the final drawer tally
• Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest and maintain a safe environment
• Keep bar area clean in accordance with the company’s guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
