CEFCU member service team members are critical to the success of the credit union. They provide a professional, knowledgeable, and caring experience when members contact us. We are looking for individuals who are personable, articulate, and positive to add to our already awesome team! Contributes to growth and profitability by actively marketing CEFCU products and services, maintains a constant awareness of corporate marketing campaigns, strategies and goals. Executes those objectives through email, telephone contact and personal visits with partner group representatives. Is responsible for individual goal achievement as well as supporting departmental goals as assigned. Identifies financial literacy opportunities and develops business relationships with local schools and organizations. Coordinates and plans public/community relations activities to increase market share and project a positive corporate image. Enhances member and community financial wellbeing through financial education and the cross selling of CEFCU products and services. Builds growth with the effective implementation of sales and service strategies within communities served. Responsible for premium inventory control, coordinating CEFCU’s presence at community fairs and festivals, requesting advertisements for CEFCU event program placement, and organizing CEFCU Member Center Celebrations. Partners with Member Center teams to coordinate and implement Member Center Marketing promotions to support corporate objectives. Works with Member Center staff to support a consistent brand portrayal and ensure consistent implementation of CEFCU corporate brand/communication standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • One to three years of communications, business, or marketing experience in a professional work environment.
  • Must possess a current, valid driver’s license, and acceptable driving record, and personal vehicle insurance.
  • Must register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registration (NMLS) to comply with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act).
  • Bilingual communication skills in Spanish. (Only required for one of the three positions.)

Nice To Haves

  • College degree in Communications, Business, or Marketing.
  • One to three years of communications, business, or marketing experience in a credit union or bank.
  • Knowledge of CEFCU products and services.
  • Superior critical thinking, time management, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build consensus.
  • Experience with public speaking and giving formal presentations.
  • Project management experience.
  • Professional and/or promotional writing skills.
