About The Position

C2BMC Entry-Level System Integration and Test Engineer Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) National Team Program is seeking a motivated and talented C2BMC Entry-Level System Integration and Test Engineer to join the team in Colorado Springs, CO to support the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS). Program Information: The C2BMC National Team provides technical solutions to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Program. C2BMC is the integrating element for the Ballistic Missile Defense System and links various sensors and weapon systems. The system provides capabilities to integrate and synchronize missile defense systems and operations, providing a layered defense against multiple ranges of threats and in all phases of flight. Position Responsibilities: Performing system level integration and testing support to the program. Helping to develop, track, and execute test plans prior to release into our Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) Test and Operational environments. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Colorado Springs, CO. Travel may be required up to 5% of the time; Domestically depending on business needs. This position may require the ability to obtain access to an MDA facility. Access to the facility requires a background investigation by U.S. government authorities. This position requires candidate acceptance by the industry partner resource control board. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
  • Must be able to function as part of an experienced team in executing system level integrated testing and maintaining lab representations of our deployed operational system.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
  • This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
  • This position requires candidate acceptance by the industry partner resource control board.
  • This position may require the ability to obtain access to an MDA facility.
  • Access to the facility requires a background investigation by U.S. government authorities.
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements.
  • To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required.
  • “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with performing Integration and Test for DoD Information Systems is desirable.
  • Formal Systems Engineering education is a significant plus.
  • College course exposure to Integration and Test along with Systems Engineering concepts and skills such as requirements engineering, use case development, logical architecture modeling, and interface definition.
  • Hands on System Administration and similar technical skills.
