About The Position

As an Account Executive, Commercial & Industrial (EPC/GC/Owner), you will be a core revenue driver for one of Giga’s fastest-growing markets. You will own relationships across Commercial and Industrial-focused EPCs, GCs, electrical contractors, consulting engineers, operators, and owners, translating complex electrical requirements into practical, competitive solutions. This role demands technical depth, field presence, and commercial ownership, ideal for a seller who thrives in a fast-moving, infrastructure-focused startup environment and seeks direct impact on growth. Giga is building at a speed most companies talk about but never actually operate at, offering significant impact as every person touches the work that matters without layers or approval chains. The team consists of A-players defining the future of AI infrastructure, recruited from innovative companies. The company is at a pivotal moment, providing the essential power infrastructure ("picks and shovels") for the exploding AI industry.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience in electrical distribution equipment, Commercial and Industrial EPCs/GCs/Owners, or mission-critical infrastructure
  • Experience selling to or working with EPCs, electrical contractors, consulting engineers, and/or Commercial and Industrial EPCs/GCs/Owners end users in complex, enterprise sales motions
  • Strong technical foundation with the ability to understand and discuss electrical systems, particularly transformers and switchgear
  • Understanding of Commercial and Industrial EPCs/GCs/Owners power infrastructure, including redundancy and power distribution architectures
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder B2B sales cycles
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot, SFDC or similar)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical information clearly
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% for customer meetings, site visits, and industry events

Responsibilities

  • Own revenue generation within the Commercial and Industrial EPCs/GCs/Owners market by prospecting, developing, and closing new customer opportunities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for EPCs, electrical contractors, consulting engineers, Commercial and Industrial GCs and large enterprise Owners
  • Gather and validate customer requirements, translating technical needs into accurate, competitive quotes and solutions
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline through consistent prospecting, referrals, and relationship expansion
  • Travel regularly to customer sites, conferences, and industry events to build pipeline and maintain market presence
  • Develop deep product knowledge across transformers, switchboards, and related electrical infrastructure to effectively position solutions
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand revenue within existing accounts
  • Maintain pricing discipline and margin ownership while closing commercially sound deals
  • Collaborate with Technical Sales Engineering, Product, and internal stakeholders to advance opportunities and resolve technical questions
  • Maintain accurate CRM hygiene in HubSpot, including activities, deal stages, and accurate sales forecasts
  • Partner with Finance, Legal and Technical Sales Quoting to convert quotes into purchase orders and invoices efficiently
  • Track market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer feedback, sharing insights with Product and Marketing teams
