About The Position

The Data Management Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of product data to support the flow of merchandise to stores. Reporting to the Manager of Data Management, this position is responsible for reviewing, entering, and maintaining various types of data related to products, vendors, and store authorizations.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in Buying, Data Management, Store Operations, Pricing, or Finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Word.
• Ability to apply software tools effectively in daily responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

• Some college is preferred.
• Retail Management Certificate is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review product and vendor data for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain data integrity through established procedures.
• Perform setup and maintenance for item, vendor, store, and cost data.
• Assign product authorizations to stores based on item attributes.
• Collaborate with stores, category managers, and space management teams to ensure accurate and consistent data.
• Participate in special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.
