About The Position

Entry-Level Buyer - Aerospace Manufacturing Omada International | Oklahoma City, OK Are you looking to start a hands-on career in aerospace manufacturing? We are seeking an Entry-Level Buyer to support our manufacturing operations by ensuring materials, hardware, and outside processing services are available when production needs them. What You’ll Do In this role, you’ll work closely with production, engineering, quality, and experienced procurement team members to support daily manufacturing needs. Key responsibilities include:

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, purchasing, inventory, logistics, or a related field (Education, technical training, or internships will be considered)
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Comfortable communicating with production teams, suppliers, and leadership
  • Basic computer skills; experience with ERP/MRP systems is helpful but not required
  • Team-driven mindset with a strong sense of accountability
  • This position is subject to ITAR regulations. Candidates must qualify as a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).

Responsibilities

  • Purchasing hardware, materials, and outside processing (OSP) services needed for production
  • Reviewing material requirements tied to manufacturing schedules and work orders
  • Verifying part specifications and engineering requirements before ordering
  • Checking inventory levels to prevent shortages or production delays
  • Requesting quotes from approved suppliers and comparing price and lead times
  • Creating and updating purchase orders in the ERP/MRP system (EPICOR)
  • Tracking orders to ensure on-time delivery to support the shop floor
  • Communicating material shortages, late deliveries, or supplier issues to production teams
  • Assisting with supplier follow-ups related to delivery or quality concerns
  • Performing cycle counts to support accurate inventory
  • Maintaining organized purchasing and supplier documentation
  • Following Quality Management System (QMS) and safety procedures
