About The Position

The Buyer is responsible for all minor and capital equipment purchases as well
as non-stock medical/surgical supply purchases for the Storeroom, Central
Service and Housekeeping. Including service, maintenance and rental agreements,
as applicable. Coordinates and assists the departmental receiving, shipping,
distribution, inventory control and issuance of patient and departmental
supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer programs and data entry.

Nice To Haves

• Associates Degree or better in related field, preferred.
• Courses in Materials Management, merchandising, accounting, marketing.
• Previous healthcare materials management experience preferred.
