Our national and global scale allows us to help our clients develop and implement standardized solutions at any of their facilities regardless of physical location or the local resources available at that site. We are seeking a Buyer to manage the procurement, tracking and expediting of materials within budget and project timelines. You Will: Collaborate with multiple project teams, application engineering, and company operations teams to understand procurement requirements and technical specifications. Partner with approved suppliers identified by engineering and operations to analyze cost, quality, lead time, and delivery risk. Execute purchases of controls equipment, spare parts, industrial tools, and facility-related materials and services in accordance with company policies. Assess supplier capabilities and participate in audits alongside engineering and operational stakeholders. Lead price and term negotiations, manage payment schedules, and ensure delivery timelines align with project needs. Identify and propose procurement strategies that align with E Tech Group’s overall goals and objectives. Monitor and track purchase orders, proactively address delivery or quality issues, and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders. Collaborate with multiple project teams in the sourcing of electrical control components, instruments, and services related to data center systems. Maintain accurate purchasing records and support budget tracking using the E Tech Group’s MRO system and other relevant tools. Work to remedy any RMA efforts initiated by project managers. Mitigate restock fees and expedited freight costs that could affect projects. Assist with procurement budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness in purchasing activities. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, supplier performance to procurement manager. Conduct cost analysis, maintain and develop cost avoidance-saving initiatives.
