About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Buyer to join our team in New Berlin, WI. This role is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing materials and components to support manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong supplier management skills, a solid understanding of procurement processes, and the ability to work cross‑functionally to ensure timely and cost‑effective purchasing.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in a Buyer, Procurement, or Purchasing role
Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing or industrial environment experience
Experience sourcing fabricated parts, machined components, or raw materials
Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles

Responsibilities

Source, negotiate, and purchase raw materials, components, and services to support manufacturing and production needs
Manage purchase orders, confirmations, and delivery schedules to ensure on‑time material availability
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, including performance tracking and issue resolution
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with planning, production, and engineering teams to align supply with demand
Analyze pricing, lead times, and market trends to identify cost‑saving opportunities
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and contractual requirements
Address supply disruptions and proactively resolve shortages or delivery issues
Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation within the ERP/MRP system
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to procurement, supplier performance, and inventory management
