Requirements

Associate's Degree preferred
2-4 years of experience in manufacturing, purchasing or related experience
Excellent MS Office Skills

Responsibilities

Develop programs and methods that establish vendor performance standards, drive cost reduction, and support accurate material specifications.
Monitor market trends for key purchased commodities (plastics, glass, aluminum sheets, etc.) to ensure competitive pricing and supplier performance.
Negotiate contracts and purchase orders for minor commodities while managing the status of all open POs.
Approve purchase orders when acting on behalf of the supervisor.
Partner with vendors to coordinate returns of defective materials and support quality assurance follow-up.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment.
Maintain accurate files, records, and logs to support efficient procurement operations.
