About The Position

TTM Technologies, Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of technology products, including mission systems, radio frequency ("RF") components, RF microwave/microelectronic assemblies, and technologically advanced printed circuit boards ("PCB"s). TTM stands for time-to-market, representing how TTM's time-critical, one-stop design, engineering and manufacturing services enable customers to reduce the time required to develop new products and bring them to market. The Buyer position manages all aspects of the materials used for an assigned commodity, including but not limited to, placing orders, managing lead times, clearing exception messages, managing past dues and clearing invoice issues using the appropriate MRP/ERP system. This position is located at 6457 Fly Rd, East Syracuse, NY.

  • B.S Degree and or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in both Procurement

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of MRP/ERP Systems Purchasing and Bills of Materials.
  • Oracle experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventories to ensure continuous production while maximizing turns.
  • Develop thorough working knowledge of assigned commodities and associated supplier base.
  • Develop a thorough working knowledge of required MRP / ERP systems.
  • Bring ideas to management and be able to implement necessary process improvements.
  • Able and willing to work necessary hours to meet all project deadlines.
  • Develop mutually beneficial, respectful, and effective relationships with peers to ensure seamless coordination between departments, maximize synergy, and maintain a shared vision, strategy, and focus.
