About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer / Supply Chain Specialist to manage the procurement of materials, optimize inventory, and ensure the timely flow of products to meet customer and project demands. The ideal candidate will combine analytical skills, vendor management expertise, and knowledge of construction materials to support our operations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain, ideally in construction or building materials.
Strong knowledge of construction materials and industry practices.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in ERP or inventory management systems.
Ability to analyze data and make informed procurement decisions.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Purchasing: 1 year (Required)

Responsibilities

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
Manage purchase orders from creation to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and coordinate replenishment to avoid stockouts or overstock situations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliable supply and resolve any issues quickly.
Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, and project managers) to understand material needs and timelines.
Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and streamline supply chain processes.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
Assist with vendor audits, performance tracking, and reporting.
