Collaborate with strategic Category Management, Product Development and other cross-functional teams to understand the Seat Assembly supply base, financial health, and technological trends, while also maximizing the quality integration of tier 2 components into final seat assembly. Analyzing market supply/demand, conducting design reviews for cost reduction, and leading sourcing execution activities such as RFx events, tactical sourcing, and contract administration. Implement sourcing strategies that align with Ford's capacity, cost, timing, and ESG objectives, and will manage relationships with Just-In-Time (JIT) suppliers. This position demands a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to interpret organizational needs and commercial strategies to develop material cost roadmaps that support corporate objectives and long-term viability.
