About The Position

Buyer, Power Electronics (EV/Hybrid Systems) As Ford accelerates its transition to an all-electric future, the Global Supply Manager will play a pivotal role in purchasing the critical components that power our EV revolution. This position focuses on delivering excellence for Ford’s Hybrid and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) programs. You will manage complex global relationships, interacting with suppliers in North America and beyond, while collaborating with internal teams across North America, Europe, China, and our joint ventures (CAF and Ford Otosan). Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or strategic sourcing
• 5+ years of experience leading supplier negotiations, cost analysis, and commercial execution
• 5+ years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering and suppliers in technical product environments
• 5+ years of experience in automotive or electronics-related sourcing, manufacturing, or program environments
• Strong understanding of power electronics or electronic components (e.g., DC-DC converters, OBC, PCBAs, or similar systems)
• Strong understanding of BOM structures, cost drivers, manufacturing processes, and tooling/capital impacts
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage sourcing activities and drive results across multiple priorities
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills in fast-paced, high-visibility environments
• Strong communication skills with ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and supplier partners
