Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations management, supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 plus years of experience in manufacturing planning, production control, scheduling or procurement.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data and integrate forecasts, inventory strategy, and capacity constraints into effective schedules.
  • Experience with advanced planning systems, shop‑floor analytics, or continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Strong understanding of production processes, capacity planning, MRP/ERP systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge on Planning master data, Rough cut capacity planning and manufacturing execution system (MES) is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed daily production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory targets and capacity constraints.
  • Lead or support production planning meetings, providing updates on schedule status, risks, and corrective actions.
  • Adjust production schedules to resolve issues, minimize delays, and meet customer service goals.
  • Work closely with BU engineers to process NPI parts request, track and update the production status to BU teams.
  • Create direct and indirect purchase orders to Applied Materials approved suppliers and follow-up with suppliers to delivered the materials on-time.
  • Work closely with production supervisors, CVD, QC and logistics teams to ensure alignment and timely execution of production plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize scheduling, reduce waste, and increase productivity
  • Coordinate with quality and operations teams to ensure production meets safety and quality standards.
  • Issue material requirements and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to support continuous availability of materials.
  • Evaluate raw material availability, coordinate with procurement teams, and ensure timely supply of components needed for production.
  • Conduct supply demand analyses and identify constraints impacting the next 12 months of production.
