About The Position

Kettering Health Main Campus l Kettering l Full-time l Days Responsibilities & Requirements Orders, receives, stores, and distributes drug products. Train others to perform responsibilities when absent. Responsible for the inventory control and inventories of all pharmaceuticals. Periods of meeting deadlines with severe time constraints, often with multiple demands from several people. Interaction will occur with a wide range of people including, but not necessarily limited to, representatives of governmental agencies, accrediting organizations, patients, medical staff, hospital personnel, visitors, etc. Work responsibilities will result in a range of activities, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently throughout working hours. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain operations
• Proficiency with pharmacy information systems and Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of drug nomenclature, dosage forms, and storage requirements

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a large acute-care medical center
• 2+ years of pharmacy purchasing, inventory, or hospital pharmacy experience
• Experience with GPO contracts and drug shortage management
• Familiarity with DSCSA requirements and serialization processes
