About The Position

We’re looking for an experienced Buyer III to join our Guidewires & Abrasives Division in Ramsey, NJ. This division supports a wide range of industries—from medical device manufacturing to aerospace and precision industrial applications—giving you the opportunity to work across a diverse and technically advanced supply chain. This position reports directly to the Manager, Supply Chain and plays a key role in ensuring materials and services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with production and customer needs.

Requirements

5+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and product lines
Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end purchasing activities for assigned commodities and suppliers
Analyze demand, forecasts, and production schedules to ensure material availability
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while driving performance and accountability
Identify cost savings opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives
Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams
Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues
Maintain accurate purchasing data in ERP systems
