WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH You will work closely with fellow merchants and cross-functional teams within Nike Direct, Consumer Merchandising, Planning, Allocation, and Brand Marketing. We also work with VMS, Stores Operations and the Planning team, relying on business reporting for your area, which includes quantitative and qualitative metrics on sales, inventory, and consumer behaviors. You will report to the Sport Sr. Manager of Training & Accessories. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We’re looking for consumerists with an affinity for product, who enjoy the energy of moving at the pace of retail and the consumer! The successful Buyer II will thrive and contribute to a positive and progressive team dynamic. This role supports building end-in-mind assortments for the Training Footwear Team, using historical data, analytics, and real-time market feedback to inform the future (coming seasons) while winning today (trading real-time). The candidate should possess proven retail acumen and analytical abilities, an understanding of retail environments starting with digital and bring a consumerist perspective to the team and business! WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON As a Buyer II you will support franchise health across Training for Nike Stores, through effective assortments, buys, and trade decisions. You will understand related aspects of the business and marketplace when initiating seasonal work.
