About The Position

This position involves assisting the Buying Team in expanding selection by setting up new vendors and items, maintaining the product catalog, and managing pricing. The role is essential for coordinating new product launches, maintaining product costs, retail price, content and images, and managing vendor relations. The position also requires involvement in special projects.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a supply chain setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience managing and executing procurement needs for new product introduction programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with ERP Systems, preferably Oracle EBS.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of data management and databases.
  • Basic SQL skills.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management.
  • Experience in a high volume, global procurement and operations manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Buying Team in expanding selection by setting up new vendors and items.
  • Maintain and update the product catalog and manage pricing.
  • Coordinate new product launches and maintain product cost and retail price.
  • Manage content and images for products.
  • Foster and manage vendor relations.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
  • Support and train as a backup to the Control team.
