We are seeking a highly skilled Buyer with specialized experience in sourcing and procurement of eMotor Cores for electric drive systems. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our electrified powertrain programs by managing strategic supplier relationships, optimizing cost, ensuring supply continuity, and driving category excellence for eMotor stator and rotor cores. Lead the strategic sourcing and procurement of eMotor core components (stator cores, rotor cores, laminations). Evaluate, select, and manage suppliers based on capability, capacity, quality performance, cost targets, and technology roadmap alignment. Negotiate Value Add pricing, long-term agreements, and supply terms to meet program timelines and financial objectives. Manage supplier performance, including PPAP readiness, on-time delivery, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement. Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Program Management, and Finance to ensure alignment on technical specifications, cost breakdowns, and timing milestones.. Support make-vs-buy analyses, cost benchmarking, and competitive sourcing strategies. Assist in resolving cost, quality, and delivery issues affecting the supply chain. Drive cost reduction initiatives, including VA/VE activities and supply-chain optimization. Maintain procurement documentation, forecasts, and supplier scorecards. You'll have... Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in production purchasing or supply chain management, with a strong preference for experience in the automotive, EV, or e-mobility sector. (electric motor or powertrain components strongly preferred). Exceptional negotiation and communication skills (written and verbal). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to understand technical specifications and manufacturing processes related to eMotor cores (e.g., stamping, lamination, insulation treatments). Capable of working independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and adapting to urgent requests. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Even better, you may have...
